This Privacy Notice tells you how any personal data (information) we collect from you will be used by us. It also explains your rights under the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK GDPR {General Data Protection Regulations].

What information do we collect from you, and why do we use it?

We offer services to our business clients and individual candidates. To provide these, we may need to collect personal information such as name, address, telephone number, email address, employment history and any information you may choose to provide on a CV. We may gather this information from individuals or companies.

We may use the personal information we hold as follows:

  • To provide you with information or services that you request from us, or which we feel may interest you, where you have consented to be contacted by us.
  • So that we can fulfil any contracts entered into between you and us.
  • To promote your placement with companies where you have consented.
  • For our own legitimate interest so that we can introduce you to our services, and for marketing, research and analysis so that we can grow our business.
  • To comply with any legal obligations that we may have.
  • To notify you about changes to our services.

If you decide not to provide any information we ask for, we may not be able to provide a service to you.

Who do we share your personal information with?

We may share your personal information with the following organisations:

  • Publicly available records so we can verify your identity;
  • Business partners, suppliers and sub-contractors to fulfil any contract we enter into with them;
  • Companies that we submit your CV to with your consent;
  • Legal authorities as required by law;
  • Any company that we may sell all or part of Morgan Armstrong to.

We will not share your information with any other third parties unless we have obtained additional consent from you.

What are your rights regarding your personal information?

  • We will not hold your information for any longer than is necessary. This will be no longer than five years after you have ceased being our client, unless we have a lawful basis for retaining your information for longer.
  • We will correct any inaccurate information straight away.
  • We will delete your information unless there is a lawful basis for us to keep it. If this applies, we will let you know.
  • You may ask us to electronically transfer your information to another organisation.
  • You can ask us for a copy of your information, and we will provide it to you within one month. If your request is more complicated, we may extend this time by up to two additional months.
  • You can withdraw consent to us holding your information at any time.
  • You can let us know if you no longer want to hear from us. Details of how to unsubscribe will be included in each email we send you.

Security

We take data security very seriously, and feel we use the most secure options available to store and transfer your information. The suppliers we use have all the necessary data protection provisions in place.

Your information may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area, for example in cloud storage services. If you give us your personal information, you agree to us transferring, storing or processing  your information in this way.
